Abstract This research paper explores the concept of Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) and its impact on organizational sustainability. As environmental concerns become more pressing, organizations are integrating sustainable practices into their operations, with HR playing a critical role in this transformation. The paper examines various GHRM practices such as green recruitment, training, performance management, and employee engagement, and analyses their contributions to reducing organizational environmental footprints, improving operational efficiency, and fostering a culture of sustainability. It further discusses the challenges organizations face in implementing GHRM, including resistance to change and limited resources, and offers strategies to overcome these barriers. Future trends in GHRM, including technological integration, global expansion of green practices, and the development of standardized sustainability metrics, are also explored. The findings suggest that GHRM is essential not only for achieving environmental goals but also for enhancing employee motivation and organizational reputation, leading to long-term business success. The paper concludes with practical recommendations for organizations to strengthen their commitment to sustainability through enhanced leadership, employee involvement, and the adoption of technological innovations. Overall, GHRM emerges as a pivotal strategy for organizations aiming to align their human resource functions with broader environmental and sustainability objectives.
