Abstract | Artificial Intelligence (AI) has the potential to transform teaching and learning by making them more personalized, engaging, and efficient. In the context of education, AI refers to the application of technologies such as machine learning and natural language processing to enhance learning processes and outcomes. These technologies employ algorithms capable of analyzing data, identifying patterns, and making predictions, thereby enabling educators to design personalized learning experiences for individual students. One of the most significant contributions of AI to education is personalized learning. By allowing students to progress at their own pace and in ways that align with their learning styles, AI can improve overall learning outcomes. Tools such as intelligent tutoring systems, chatbots, and automated grading systems further increase efficiency by saving teachers’ time and ensuring consistent, accurate feedback. Additionally, AI facilitates advanced data analysis, which supports educators in making informed, data-driven decisions. Despite these benefits, the adoption of AI in education presents several challenges. Concerns regarding privacy, data security, trust, high implementation costs, and algorithmic bias remain critical issues that need careful consideration. Ethical aspects such as ensuring accessibility, transparency, and fairness in AI-driven educational systems are equally important for sustainable integration. Overall, while challenges persist, the potential of AI in education is immense. Its applications not only promote personalized and effective learning but also contribute to the broader management and advancement of education systems. This paper examines the role of AI in education, highlighting its benefits, challenges, and implications for the future. |
